In the winter of 2017, the fields of Mesnil-le-Roi, where I lived, were hit successively by a flood and then a snowstorm. After these disasters, the agricultural elements, suspended between life and death, remained in a poetry both dignified and ephemeral. This series of photographs is an elegy to the resilience of nature in the face of raw violence.
